Permanent makeup eyelash enhancement creates the appearance of fuller, darker lashes without the need for mascara or eyelash extensions
The procedure involves applying pigment along the lash line to enhance the natural look of your lashes. This creates a subtle, defined line that makes your lashes appear thicker and more pronounced. Unlike traditional eyeliner, eyelash enhancement is typically done with a softer technique, resulting in a more natural appearance that complements your eye shape. The procedure can be tailored to your preferences, including the thickness and color of the enhancement, allowing you to achieve your desired look. The technique can help define and enhance the shape of your eyes, making them appear more vibrant and expressive.

Smokey eyes is a technique that creates a subtle, blended eye makeup effect that mimics the look of traditional smokey eye makeup. This approach enhances the eyes with soft, shaded colors and can incorporate various shades to achieve a desired depth and intensity. The goal is to create a seamless transition of colors around the eyelids
One of the key benefits of shaded eyeliner PMU is its versatility. It can be tailored to suit nearly every eye shape, age and lifestyle. For clients with hooded or mature eyelids, soft shading provides lift and openness without dragging the eye down. For clients with smaller or rounded eyes, a subtle smoky gradient creates the illusion of depth and elongation. Even clients who usually avoid strong makeup find that shaded eyeliner gives just enough enhancement to make the eyes stand out naturally. Another advantage is how forgiving and universally flattering this style is. Because shaded eyeliner blends so seamlessly, it heals incredibly soft, making it ideal for those who prefer natural looks or want a polished “everyday makeup’’ appearance. It’s also the perfect choice for gym-goers, busy professionals and clients with watery or oily eyes who struggle to keep traditional makeup in place. With shaded PMU eyeliner, there’s no smudging, no streaking and no more midday touch-ups. At Pigment.lab, the technique is always customised. Some clients prefer a whisper-soft haze that barely extends past the lash line, while others request a more defined smoky effect for added drama. Our artists assess each client’s eye shape, lash line, symmetry and lifestyle to design a look that enhances their features in the most flattering way. Every detail—from pigment choice to saturation level—is tailored to achieve a beautifully healed result.
Typically, it can last anywhere from one to three years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-up sessions may be needed to maintain the desired color and appearance
We make sure the treatment is comfortable for you. Topical anesthetic is used to minimize discomfort during the procedure. While some clients may experience slight discomfort, it is generally well-tolerated
NO alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours before the treatment. NO skincare product containing retinal, AHA, vitamins A, C and E agents for 1-2 weeks before treatment. STOP taking fish oil tablets (if you do) the moment you schedule your eyebrow tattoo appointment, garlic and herbal teas to avoid blood thinning. Do not tan two weeks prior or have a sunburned face. Do not have any type of facial/peel 2 weeks prior to treatment. Discontinue Vitamin A/Retinol products one month prior to treatment (these treatments thin the skin considerably). Do not work out the day of the procedure (excessive oils in the skin can prevent the pigment from retaining). Do not have anti wrinkle treatment 3 weeks prior (can affect symmetry). Please purchase cold sore cream as the procedure can cause cold sore breakouts. To Minimise Discomfort: Try to get a good night's sleep before your treatment. This will help you relax and make the treatment more comfortable. Drink lots of water- before and during the session – this allows the skin to accept the ink more easily, without thinning the blood. On the day: Have a good breakfast on the day of your treatment, this increases your stamina as treatments like Permanent Makeup burn a lot of calories. Paracetamol reduces pain and helps reduce inflammation so if you're worried take two before or after your treatment. Antihistamine helps to reduce swelling during the procedure. Pigment stains – we use protective hair nets and cover you and all our equipment and couch in tissue and protective film but occasionally tiny droplets of pigment could splash on clothing and may stain, we recommend wearing dark tops where possible. Due to the equipment we use and contaminated waste we don't allow children and pets in my treatment room
Pigment.lab offers a wide range of colors, only limited by your imagination. We will customize the pigment to match your fav eyeliner or pencil colour. A consultation beforehand allows you to select the perfect shade
After the procedure, eyes may appear darker and swollen. This is normal and typically subsides within a few days. The color will soften as the lips heal, usually taking about 4 weeks for full healing
Aftercare is crucial for optimal results:
Gently cleanse the treated area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser. Avoid using any makeup removers or products that contain acids.
For the first few days, keep the area dry and avoid getting it wet. This includes avoiding swimming, sauna, and excessive sweating.
Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the treated area to prevent irritation or infection.
Apply any aftercare ointment or healing balm provided by your technician. Often, a thin layer is advised to keep the area moisturized.
Avoid sun exposure and swimming for the first 4 weeks.
Refrain from applying makeup to the brow area for at least 7-10 days post-procedure.
Protect the treated area from direct sunlight. Wear a wide-brimmed hat or use a physical sunscreen once healed, as sun exposure can fade the pigments.
Avoid exfoliating products, scrubs, or procedures (like chemical peels) in the brow area for at least 4-6 weeks post-treatment, as they can cause fading and irritation.
Minimize strenuous activities and excessive sweating for the first week to allow the area to heal properly.
Keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms such as excessive redness, swelling, or discharge. If you notice any signs of infection, contact your technician or a healthcare provider immediately.
Apply cold sore cream daily for the first 7 days.
Schedule any recommended follow-up or touch-up appointments as advised by your technician, usually 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.
