Skin Chemical Peel Training Course

Our Chemical Peel Training Course is designed for both beginners and experienced beauty or aesthetics practitioners looking to add one of the most in-demand skin rejuvenation treatments to their portfolio. Whether you’re brand new to aesthetics or already offering skin treatments, this course will teach you how to safely and confidently administer superficial to medium-depth chemical peels for a range of skin concerns.

You’ll learn the science behind peels, practical application techniques, and post-treatment care — plus gain hands-on experience treating live models under tutor supervision.

This course does not include a kit.

Chemical peels are powerful skin resurfacing treatments that use acids to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. Different peels target different skin concerns, depths, and skin types. Here’s a guide to popular peel types that we will be studying:

AHA Peels (Alpha Hydroxy Acids)

Common ingredients: Glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid

AHAs are water-soluble acids that work on the skin’s surface to gently exfoliate, brighten, and hydrate.

Great for sensitive and dry skin types.

BHA Peels (Beta Hydroxy Acids)

Common ingredient: Salicylic acid

BHAs are oil-soluble, meaning they can penetrate deep into pores to clear excess oil, sebum, and dead skin cells. Ideal for acne-prone and problematic skin.

TCA Peels (Trichloroacetic Acid)

Strength range: Light to medium-depth

TCA penetrates deeper than AHAs and BHAs, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin regeneration. Best for moderate to advanced skin concerns.

Enzyme Peels

Common ingredients: Papaya, pumpkin, pineapple enzymes

Enzyme peels are non-acidic, using natural fruit enzymes to dissolve dead skin cells without irritation. A great option for clients with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

Jessner’s Peel (A Combination Peel)

Ingredients: Lactic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol

A blended formula offering multi-layered exfoliation, Jessner’s peel is effective for tough, resilient skin and layered concerns.

You will start the day with an interactive presentation from a highly trained and experienced practitioner. Following the presentation, each student will be asked to carry out a full medical consultation with their model. To assess their clients face, ensuring their suitability for the treatment and that they understand any contraindications, risks or side effects. Delegates will carry out the treatment on their models under the supervision of our tutor. All of our training courses are limited to small groups. The practical session allows all students to observe a wide range of treatment indications and techniques, with a large opportunity for questions and feedback. It’s another fantastic, fast track injectables course we offer! The course includes online self-study with access to training lectures, treatment videos, and course materials. This is followed by an all-day session at our academy, consolidating your knowledge and injecting live models in small groups, allowing you to be more confident and master clinics’ most common treatments.

To ensure a perfect training experience. A maximum of 5 to 6 delegates are enrolled on this course. Enabling you to draw upon expert knowledge of muscular facial anatomy and treatment options for the face. You will have the opportunity to learn by tutor demonstration, consulting and assessing, along with a live model with close supervision and support.
